Equal Educational Opportunity

Given the right opportunity, every student has the ability to successfully fulfill individual needs and aspirations.

Community Relations

In recent months the district has initiated a positive community relations program. The district needs to continue to celebrate the successes of the students and staff members in the K-12 academic, athletic, social and performance-based endeavors.

School Sports

As an advisor for the NCAA, I prioritize helping young student-athletes achieve their personal and academic goals.

Breath of Curriculum

I have a strong background in programs such as Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, special education, career pathways, visual and performing arts, and athletics, and have the skills to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Top Priorities to the General Community

School Board members have five major responsibilities to the general community:

  • Setting direction

  • Establishing an effective and efficient structure

  • Providing support

  • Ensuring accountability

  • Providing community leadership as advocates for children, the school district and public schools

Fulfilling these responsibilities requires a transparent process.
